TLC Performing Arts a NON COMPETITIVE dance studio located in New England, serving all dancers from Rhode Island & Southern Massachusetts. Our mission is to offer your child a prestigious recreational dance education, with a focus on technique, terminology, & most of all fun! The TLC staff has over a century's worth of experience instructing children and adults in all genres of dance. TLC class sizes are limited for a personalized positive teacher to student atmosphere. Our motto here at TLC is “Start as friends, leave as family”.

We offer classes in acro, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, technique, hip hop, boys hip hop & musical theatre. Classes are for all ages starting at walking age with our “Dance With Me Mommy” through all skill levels to adult.

TLC also offers entry onto several prestigious Teams, with no tryouts necessary! The TLC Dance Team is for children ages 5 through 18 who want to perform at various venues across the region. Some of our performances include: A PC Friars Game in front of over 12,000 people, Gloria Gemma Flames of Hope Event at the RI State House, Roger Williams Zoo: Born to Breastfeed Event, & many feasts and festivals statewide.   

The Elite team is an exclusive team that travels to conventions to take master classes in all genres of dance. This team also is asked to perform at many statewide events, most notably, they were the opening act for the KIDZ BOP tour in Providence. The Elite team meets on Saturdays from October through June. Students must take at least two years of Technique class and be enrolled in Dance Team as a prerequisite. 

The TLC Bi-Annual Disney Team is one of our most exciting teams to join. Every other year TLC choreographs a 30 minute show to be performed in Disney Springs in front of a packed audience. On this trip, your child will make memories to last a lifetime. Not only are they in Disney with all of their friends, they are treated like a true "Disney Cast Member" and are all allowed backstage in the Parks to take exclusive classes with Disney Performers. We also get great discounts on Park Hoppers &  VIP seating at an EPCOT Fireworks Spectacular, to name a few!
